There are 56 recycling drop-off points across the city for waste paper/cardboard, glass, old clothing and textiles, and used batteries.
Important information
Please do not leave waste near public drop-off containers for recycling or in their surrounding areas. Dumping bulky items or other waste in public spaces, on pavements or next to drop-off containers is strictly prohibited by article 9 of the City of Luxembourg general regulations on public order and safety (règlement général de police). A complaint will be filed against anyone found to have illegally dumped their waste in this way.
If the drop-off containers are full:
- wait until the containers have been emptied;
- use another collection point; or
- go to our Recycling Centre.
Pay to have your waste collected from your home
The City's Service Hygiène offers a home collection service for large quantities of glass, waste paper and/or used cardboard, subject to a fee.
